Landlord Certificates
Landlords renting out properties must make sure that all of the appliances within the property have been fully inspected and have been passed for the tenants in the property. This is required by law and is in line with the Gas Safety Register regulations, which ensures that both the property and tenants are safe. Landlord certificates are issued when appliances, gas supply, flues, flow and ventilation have been declared safe.
If even one of the checks we perform comes out as a fail, we cannot issue a certificate until the we have rectified the problem and checked the appliance for a second time. Ensuring all of your gas appliances meet the gas safety installation and use regulations will mean that the lives of your tenants are not at risk.
