Boiler Repairs
Regular boiler repairs help to improve the efficiency of your boiler as well as minimising risks of breakdown. This is the reason as to why boilers should be serviced at least once a year. In most cases, experienced engineers normally identify the problem and repair the defective component in their first visit.
Boilers are made to prevent leaks as much as possible; this is why you need to contact your boiler repair technician right away in case of a leak. Leaks can be caused by a number of few things gone wrong such as corrosion or a joint gone wrong. In-case of a leaking joint, your plumber will change the olive if it’s damaged or if it’s not severe, tape it with a PTFE. Your boiler repair technician might also change the corroded pipe. This will just take a minimum of 30 minutes.

Pressurising Problems
Having the right pressure inside your boiler is very critical for proper heating. Low pressure is relatively easy to diagnose since most boilers have a built-in pressure gauge. Your boiler repair technician will tell you the problem is most likely to be caused by a leak or if you bled your radiators.
To repair this, check your user manual to see if you can re-pressurise it yourself. If the problem persists, contact County Heating and Plumbing and our boiler repair technicians will diagnose and repair the problem for you as quickly as possible.
Apart from maintaining the functionality of the boiler, by having your boiler checked at least one every year, you reduce energy consumption bill.
